Dear Parents/Guardians and Students of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish Religoius Education Program:
It is with great joy that we welcome you to our Religious Education program.
Religious Education Mission Statement:
Our Lady of Mount Virgin Religious Education Program is a faith community rooted in Jesus Christ. Our community is “Catholic” because it welcomes all people and shares the message of Christ locally, and throughout the world. The message that Jesus brought was one of hope and love, of justice and freedom.
As a “Catholic” community, we accept the invitation of Jesus to join in His work of bringing the Good News to others. This means that we are recognized as followers of Christ. We are members of His community, known by our love for one another, and by lives centered on Eucharist.
Our
Our Lady of Mount Virgin Religious Education Program recognizes that parents and guardians are the “first teachers in faith.” Our Religious Education Program personnel complement our parents and guardians; and together, we share our faith as a learned and lived experience.
